In this introductory-level summer camp, students learn the basics of VexIQ mechanisms as they work together in small teams to build a battle-worthy robot to enter into our Arena of Mayhem. While robots must battle for survival, beware...the Arena of Mayhem will present new challenges that will stretch the imagination of students and push their robot to the limit.

In this advanced summer camp, students use their prior knowledge of VexIQ mechanisms to build marvelously complex machines that solve simple tasks. After mastering key mechanisms and principles of motion, students unleash their imaginations to design the most elaborate, multi-step inventions their minds can dream up! Stop playing games and start creating them at the Gravity Glitch summer camp. Build high-performance video games from scratch using Python and AI models to mirror modern dev environments, prescribing your own laws of physics to create total realism or total chaos. Stay sharp: you’ll troubleshoot intentional "glitches" and live source-code hacks, tracing exploits the moment your gravity flips or your engine goes rogue.
